How does losing a step move you from third to first? Speed doesn’t matter at either spot. Is there a reason you need a faster player at third than first? Losing a step moves you from MI to the corners but idk about 3B to 1B

reaction times. 100mph is pretty damn fast at 90 feet. Majority of hitters are RH.

So both HR's were right over the heart of the plate. Natural uppercut that takes a bit longer to set up starting with a open stance then closing up fast. IMO bust him upstairs. Get him to start thinking on moving that open stance right into a 95 4 up and in. Then drop a curve right over the plate and watch him crumble.

Makes sense why they traded Puig. They had a upgrade.
Len and JD just got thru mentioning the Cubs didn't throw him any strikes last night after his two XBH, and he Kd three times. Seconds later, Yu threw one down the middle.

Nobody needs to explain trading Puig away.

Strop was pretty much an asshole also. 2 way street on that business. But ya he is a knuckle headed oaf.

Bunt the ball toward the second baseman's normal position.

Pretty much the ONLY things to avoid there were a popup or a K. Sometimes it's just too fucking easy.

He is good for a reason. He goes high and they swing under it. Anti uppercut attack.

Cubs just missed a great opportunity to tie. Then Yu gives up a bomb.

How does the home plate ump, when asked to appeal to first, then call the pitch a strike without a response?

In Darvish's last 7 starts he's struck out 53 and walked 2......WTF, that is impressive control when you think how wild he was early on. But unfortunately, that usually leads to a lot of HRs as the hitters know the strikes are coming. Fergie Jenkins was the same way.

Bauer is shutting them down tonight. Yu's outing not really too bad. Got to score to help him out.

Maybe Cubs luck out and get to face a reds reliever in the late innings and stage a comeback.

They just mentioned that Yu allowed only 4 batters. Unfortunately, three Hrs and a double immediately preceding one of the HRs.

Cishek just can't get through a fucking inning.

Probably not a big deal tonight, but good grief!

OK, Happ.

Make up for the two times you killed a rally tonight.
