Well.....I will say the same to "peaking perfectly" as I responded to a Cards fan who said they were "limping into the postseason" due to Lackey on DL: We are 75% of the way through the season. Still approx 40 games for everyone.

Yeah Im going home to Chicago on the 19-21st of September to go to the 3 games on Sep 19,20,and 21st. Im hoping I will get to see them clinch. But the way they're playing right now, its scary. Lackey on the DL is not a problem. There's nothing wrong with him. That was some forced rest by the organization who knows damn well that the division and likely HFA is in the bag. So why not rest the guy and get him back in October with 15 days of rest. He has been crazy good as has the entire staff this year.
