I honestly believe they are not wanting to lock it up because of Schwarber. His chances at sticking as a catcher are slim at best.

I honestly believe they are not wanting to lock it up because of Schwarber. His chances at sticking as a catcher are slim at best.

I think it was more they fell in love with how he finished last season and liked his veteran presence in lineup. .

If they feel Schwarber gonna be their future LFer they better consider moving him there soon to learn / get comfortable playing it.. his bat so far is going to get him promoted to Iowa sooner rather then later, so if they dont bring him up this summer..there a chance for him to be up opening day if he continues to hit...

I think travis is going to have to take his lumps this game if he cant get anyone out..

He gonna have to try and gut out at least 5 or 6 innings for the bullpen. .

84 pitches 49 for strikes. He has 1 inning left at best. He is becoming a 5 inning pitcher and that really sucks. Sounds like they will be calling Jackson in today.

That is def. Soler weakness. He cant recognize low breaking balls. He is gonna have to work hard to correct that.
