Aggravating shit right there....big time hustle play gets Baez to 3b with one out and both guys strike out weakly against a POS that shouldn't even be in MLB. Soft off the plate stuff....just ridiculous.

Luckily, the troops should all be back by Monday and those two won’t start much

Victor has had an outstanding year. Where is that guy who said how much he sucked?

A lot of people would fall into that MO....including yours truly. He might be the Poster Boy for this team in his inconsistency. There have been times when you think he's about ready to really break out, like lately. But there have been others when he has been pretty brutal....there was a stretch earlier when he dropped his batting avg like 100 points over about 3 weeks.....as Parade says....a box of chocolates.

Here's a question....if the playoffs started next week, would Strop be on the playoff roster?

Any teams would kill for his slash line as a backup. It’s a season not stretches.

Depending. I think our bullpen is set with Ryan, cishek, wick, kintzler, kimbrel. I would think maybe not because you probably need chatwood to eat up innings and then whatever 5th man we decide to be in the pen. And no, that will not be Lester. Way to much pedigree

Fortunately for Strop, it's still a month away. A lot of things can change over 30 days in MLB but Strop really needs to put together some good outings to get back into Madden's good graces....if not, I would agree that he will be out.

Listened to most of it on the radio but did catch some live. Good win today. Burry them even more tomorrow!

Maddon said in the post game Rizzo took some BP this morning and it's possible Rizzo could play tomorrow.

I watched him vs Yelch on break. All I was thinking was don't **** up 6-0. He went low low and low. Finally went in zone and Yelch got a single. And that is a win in my book

But Strop is not scary out there. He won't go up and in to let the hitter know 'hey you want to lean in...ok enjoy this.'

I think that is really the nuts and bolts with him. He is going to be down in the zone and hitters just have to wait for a elevated offering. Other wise sit on his junk.

Cubs winning means he's miserable, probably somewhere after the game today looking for puppies to kick.
:dog:

Isn't that what we're supposed to do? Did I not get that memo? Reminds me of the time I didn't my TPS Reports
