My favorite teams
Stick. A . Fork. In. Them.
I wonder if everyone on The Score will still talk about how bad the Brewers pitching is....shutting down the Cubs.
Anyone else come to the conclusion that this just simply flat out sucks? Back to back shutouts in a playoff race? Lol, blow it the **** up this off-season
They are not good. Blow it up.
Keep: Rizzo, Bryant, Contreras, Baez, Castellanos. Get rid of everyone else, especially Addison Russell.
To blow it up you have to get rid of someone that’s relevant and would get us something in returnThey are not good. Blow it up.

You keep your 4 core guys. You can still "blow it up" by keeping those 4. The Cubs have churned out these same guys, Almora, Schwarber, Russell, Heyward, etc for years now.
Nobody is taking Heyward. Almora and Russell get you a bag of used balls. Schwarbs gets you a bag of new balls.
They need a real lead off. That is all it takes. The blow up is not a thing.
Heyward produces in the 6 hole.
Schwarber has been far better out of the lead off.
Every issue steams from Joe pushing guys into failed roles.
The biggest core issue this team needs is a new manager. They do not need this musical chairs method of management. Then Theo and Jed need to attain a line up staple at lead off. Even if it means trading Bryant for Betts and extending him after.
So Javy leads off today, walks twice, and still not good enough? Of course, he jammed his thumb and neck so there will be some excuse to not put him back there. They need a real lead off. That is all it takes. The blow up is not a thing.

I just want to know how long it takes for Madden to figure out that you only get full Kimbrel in save conditions, not holds for wins or just plain holds.
So even when he does take walks, the biggest argument against him, he is still not good enough. we dont have a mookie betts or rickey henderson, You can only compare him to the options on this team.Walking x2 in a game doesn't make him a lead off.
Mookie Betts: .300/.373/.516 career mark.
Rickey Henderson: .279/.401/.419 career mark.
See something in common. They are above .270 BA and they both are .375-.400 OBA.
Javy's career mark is .270/.310/.484
This is why you are your moniker.

How about lets not try to find someone so Nico can do it when he makes the team in may of 2021.
You might as well say lets keep Heyward up there, he looks like dexter fowler. (What are Heywards numbers at leadoff again?)

If the musical chairs thing was to blame, Theo would call Joe up to his office and tell him he will be provided with the lineups from now on.
