They hit well yesterday. They didnt get the big hits. They were terrible with runners in scoring position. The first game they should have tied, but Almora got thrown out on third on a freak play.

After Lester's start that is. See if Contreras can bring some lift to the top and get Heyward lower in the order. Seems Joe is hitting him there just to put a LH bat ahead of Bryant. He is not hitting well enough to justify the added PA's.

I am positive last night that they pitched around Cogs to get to Heyward late in the game. They know he cant hit a plus fastball and thats exactly what happened.
