WOW...already? The weather is going to be that bad?
Since he's been in the NL already, I'd say that's a given. Why, Arrieta better with the bat then Lester?

It's pretty cold here. 38 but feels colder.
So what, that's well above freezing...shocked really. I wonder if the porta potties aren;t ready yet.
Above freezing now, but will be below tonight and possible rain. Bad mix.
Temp wise it will be all night. Oh well. Like I said, I have a feeling it's an excuse as something isn't ready.
Think Maddon switches the lineup tonight?
Because it's a bad idea to begin with that has been proven statistically a failure.
I'm hoping Alcantara starts personally.

One less game without Bryant. Count to minimum games required without Roy Hobbs Jr. = 7.
Pre net...sorry. Tony LaRussa was when it was written. sun Times
If anyone thinks that Bryant would have made the Cubs win Sunday night, he wouldn't have. Get over it.
No one was hitting the ball out of the park, and Bryant's defense at 3B is worse than Olt's.
Get off the one-man-show theory people. They didn't play well as a team and the Cardinals did, and they also did everything right.
It is 162 game season.
BTW, the Cubs in 07' lost on opening day and actually lost 6 of the first 10 games.
In 08' the Cubs also lost opening day, 3 of the first 4 before putting a win streak together to go 6-4 over the first 10 games.
15 teams won, and 15 lost. It is a long grind of a season, and if anyone is pissed that their respective teams didn't win opening day and are already panicking, they need to pick up a hobby like crocheting or needlepoint.
