People bitching and people bitching about bitching. Sounds like the internet to me.
Sox trolls were mighty quiet yesterday. .. hmmm...?
Thank you!!
I certainly believe everyone is entitled to their opinion. And I don't ask to have someone silenced for having an opinion I may not agree with.
But when someone posts on a game thread with the sole intention of ruining it for people trying to actually discuss the game, a mod should actually do something. I don't understand what pleasure some idiot gets from posting just to ruin a discussion, but it's awful damn pathetic.
The shortstop position is an obvious area to watch for the Cubs, but Olney says (in the above-linked piece) that it may not all be positive. Starlin Castro has proven he can hit, but Olney says there are real concerns about how committed he is to grinding things out on defense. Chicago informed other teams this winter that it was open to trade scenarios involving the 25-year-old.
If anyone thinks that Bryant would have made the Cubs win Sunday night, he wouldn't have. Get over it.
That's just it, it was a perfect time for someone to step up and show some leadership. Instead, they are just part of the problem. They think that this free for all is actually good, and have no idea how much better this forum can be. :dunno:
Onley is apparently reporting that there are..... you ready for this.... concerns about Castro's defense. Shocking...

This is the story that never dies.
Olney is full of BS as all of ESPN is. It's just like the announcers talking up Russell on Opening Night and making Castro an after thought. Each of them are a wash with their skills at SS.Onley is apparently reporting that there are..... you ready for this.... concerns about Castro's defense. Shocking...

Think Maddon switches the lineup tonight?

I would think he'd move the pitcher back to the #9 slot, but who knows.
Why, Arrieta better with the bat then Lester?
