Best way you wanted arrieta moving around bases..
Bunted to 2nd, walk to 3rd, walk home

Needed Donorfia to do better then K on 3 pitches though..

Need more production out of Russell, and Fowler to make the offense effective

Uh, yeah.....really. If there was a Kenny Lofton type around that could come in and play about 60 games, hit .327 with an OB pushing .400 while playing a crackerjack CF....which is exactly what he did for the Cubs in 2003 when they traded for him mid season. I think that would work.

Especially when he looks at two hitable strikes and strikes out on a pitch that wasn't even close to being a strike. Probably is the reason he plays vs leftys most of the time.

Other side of the coin was a great disciplined AB by Soler to get walk-in run.

Good Lord....I hate this team. Not only good but get every good break in the game...from the umps on out. But they're day is coming, maybe not this year but soon. It's the Bulls vs the Pistons all over again and these Cards will eventually go down just like the Pistons did.

Really. Did the wind change? Fowler's almost went out, too. I didn't think anyone would hit one out today.

I think its moved a little. Its blowing in from center. Early in the game Castro and Soler got into one and they died in the wind.
