It's like the league has figured out the Cubs offense. Cubs were hitting everything in site the first couple of months of the season and the last several weeks have not been hitting all that good. Adjustments need to be made or something here.

He did say he wanted the 2 lefties sandwiching Bryant. Heyward was going to be the 2 hitter. May still if this is the only funk he goes through as a Cub

Miss used. Side arm RHP are seen very well by lefties. Yelch is a .300 hitter and had the advantage.

If you sign a side arm guy you pitch him to righties and throw all breaking stuff down in the zone.

It is pointless to trade for a sidewinder if you don't use him in the right sceneries.

Ahh yes, so explain how Bryant batting third would have changed that inning? Contreras or Heyward would be batting second and one struck out and the other would have hit into a double play? The Cubs didnt come through. Its a team effort. You talk in conjecture.

You want Bryant in 2 hole cause he gets on base, but there Noone driving him in but Rizzo for most part..

First and second with Bryant Rizzo n Zobrist coming up, you got a better chance at getting both runners home
Over having Bryant and Rizzo on base with Zobrist Contreras and Heyward coming up
