I think it's possible he's traded but it's only going to be if it's part of a deal for a TOR arm, which is getting full value out Soler.
If you want to bet that the Cubs trade him for less, I'll gladly take that bet. The guy they're definitely trading in the off-season is LaStella.

No, you said they're going to "furiously try and dump him" and that's the part I disagreed with. They could trade him for value, sure. They have a ton of hitters and if they can get an arm, they'll trade him just like they would have last off-season. The guy they're going to dump to just get out of the organization is LaStella; with Soler they're going to be more selective if they trade him.
