No reason to keep switching pitchers.

I agree. He keeps trotting different guys out there...eventually the Pirates will find one they can hit. I don't like the way Madden has managed this game at all. You don't double switch the guy was has provided most of the pop. (Soler)

Whatever happened to that rule about not blocking the plate?
Moron, you can be in the basepath if the throwl takes you there. You can also block the plate if you have the ball. Go back to servicing Parade

Why should the Cubs risk injury to any of their relievers that matter (Grimm, Chapman, etc) and pitch them multiple innings to win this game?

Well they changed the rule two years ago that you actually have to give a lane to the runner to slide.

It's called leaving Cahill in, like the Pirates have left Locke in.

Not if you already have the ball or if the throw takes you into the basepath

Locke is hittable. Him allowing one run was huge

Well Cahill pitched the last two days so I highly doubt the Cubs are going to ask him to pitch a ton, kind of like how they're leaving Edwards out.

Now you see....do I have to start picking on you and Taco again? I was going to leave your tired old ass alone. I was just letting Parade have his way you. You always find it fitting to call people names...always a sign of brain leakage. It's why everyone here dislikes you.

Maybe you can tell us another story....too much coffee tonight, I need something that will bore me to sleep.

Also, let's not forget Rizzo is 0-5 with 8 men LOB. Kind of a big deal in an extra innings game when you're doling out the blame.

Love what Bryant has done in his first two seasons, but he may have more 0-2 counts than anyone I have ever seen.

But win it here, and who cares?

Then bring Wood or Lackey in. All the switching crap took the hottest hitter in the lineup out, too. This is the stretch. It's time to win these games and get home field advantage.

pitcher spot is three away here. Would have to imagine the Cubs go to Hammel. Crazy if he goes from quick Sunday to walk off hit Tuesday.

Bryant has been hottest lately.

Baez has 4 hits tonight.

Soler is "hottest"?

Lackey's on the DL.

Wood pitched in the 7th.

He also took out the worse defender and brought in a drastically better one (Russell).
