Na, Cubs messed up. They should have went into the 9th with a one run lead to really show their chops. Who needs a 2 run cushion

Again. Comes down to the starting pitching. Nice bounce back from Hammel.

I'm still holding out for the 2 weeks. Should give each starter 3 starts. That should be enough innings to see if they need to adjust

Great, great win after yesterday's huge victory. I think this goes back to the season saving W against Pittsburgh before the break. That was easily the biggest game of the year for us.

I feel so, so much better. But I'm still scared to death of giving up major assets this year.

I don't care if the Cubs become the worst team in history to win a WS like the 2006 cardinals. As long as they win one. The Cubs have to get that monkey off of their back.

As much of a pain it sounds getting A guy like Miller or his ilk makes plenty of sense.

55 made plenty of sense where we don't know if Nathin will be a factor at 41. It would make sense to try to deal here with the lesser cost player. The Cubs have been heavily scouting Miller and Chapman and I think they have to pay up here.

Even if it is Chapman and he demands to close. What is the worst case? Rondon in the 8th and Wood, Edwards and Strop the guys getting you there. If Nathin amounts to anything it just adds. Cahill just used in MR.

You could do worse.

The cost would be worth it. The future is on the team now.
