It's just different geometry, throwing flat footed, etc vs. throwing to the plate. A lot of pitchers, specifically Lefties have issues with it. I'm just surprised they haven't worked on it a little more. You would think that he could get fairly comfortable with some repetition.

I dont know. . Would it be so horrible to let Montero catch Lester ? Would Lester throw a fit ? Having Ross bat, they basically have 2 automatic outs in the 7th and 8th hole..
