did you not read my post a couple of pages back. il repeat. the kings are NOT your stereotypical 8th seed team. the kings were underachieving ALL year. most knowledgeable fans and analysts were shocked at how poorly they played most of the season. on paper they were not an 8th seed team. so your "hmmms" are laughable. if the kings win the cup it will be history in the making. no 8th seed has ever won the cup. an stereotypical true 8th seed would have been a team like the stars getting in. this is all fact.

Kings are an 8th seed, regardless of what their potential says they should be at...hmmm. I was concerned about them losing Johnson, but just having Carter really adds to matchup problems and creates depth for the kings. Voynov has looked very good so far.

Jack Johnson being shipped out of town was damn near addition by subtraction. He wasn't playing all that well, and now Voynov is.
