On paper I would say the hawks have more talent, but there to much sh@t going on that got in our way. People in the front office getting into pisses matches with each other.
At a 30+ yr old that resorts to childish tactics? Haha not a chance.
The goalie by far goes to the kings...talent up and down the lineup Iam taking the hawks...they have the ability to win another cup, almost every expert picked the Hawks in the finals. Maybe my heart talkingno. the hawks do not have more talent than the kings. the hawks may have a couple more "elite" players but the depth of the kings is much better, they also have a monster in goal. the only real advantage i give the hawks is their 4 pairing on defense and thats even pushing it.
I actually did not envision a President's Trophy win for Chicago. LA on the other hand? I thought it was possible.

I didn't envision that either, but several projections did.
Dewey, your logic that Kings were supposed to be better which is why thy can win as an 8th seed but the Blackhawks couldn't if they were an 8th seed is kind of a double-standard. There were several projections that had us as the 1st seed/Presidents' before the season started, and for a good amount of the year (right up until the 9 game skid, though we lost it momentarily before that IIRC) we were living up to those expectations. Don't go off about how I am worshiping the Blackhawks and being a homer, because I am simply stating this in a matter of fact kind of way.
A lot of experts had the Blackhawks winning he whole thing.
