I used to defend Ohman, but, he needs to go. With Thorton aging and losing some of his velocity I think its time to move him back to the LOOGY roll instead of lefty-set up.

ozzie misused ohman and now he is being used right and still giving up bombs.

OBP, OPS, SLG, OPS+. All of those were his career best in 2010. (other than this year until now)

The only thing close and the only year he had a better AVG is 2006 when he had a really damn good season.

He's starting to provoke a reaction in me not seen since David Riske.

Yeah, the offense does need to be better but right now the White Sox pitching sucks really bad.

The whole team needs to figure it out.

Sox were due to cool off, but luckily we're going into IL so I'm not too worried.

You know something is really wrong when you lose to the Astros.

Gotta fix this and get a win tomorrow. Both pitching and offensively.

Great time to start sucking it up. When I'm going to go see the Sox in person for the first time in the year they're playing their worst baseball. Excellent.

They were career bests, but they were career bests by 12, 55, 33, and 26. He did that age 34. That is impressive. He declined the following season. What I have a hard time believing is that at age 36 he is going to significantly outperform those new highs set at age 34.

This is something that I constantly look at when it comes to the Cubs hitters, but Konerko's BABIP is a ridiculously high .414 or something along those lines. This coincidentally is what I was saying about LaHair earlier. Those numbers are going to come down which will bring down those other numbers closer to those age 34 peak numbers. Whether it will bring them in line with them like I predict or ten plus points like you guys are predicting we will have to see.

I did, because he didnt go full floyd mode especially for what is supposed to be a 5th starter.

Yeah. I guess he was better than he has been before. But the bullpen absolutely fucked it up too.

The pitching is more to blame than anything in this game I think.

must be tough for Floyd to dominate those All Star lineups in Seattle & Houston.

for fucks sake we cant have a pitching staff where our 5th starter is an ace. he is a 5th starter and Im fine with that if we obtained a starter. Stop with the blanket statements.

fact: bad teams beat good teams, bad teams beat good/great pitchers.
