Did you guys really expect him to hit 60 points higher than his career best batting average the whole season?

i like jordans patience
No. But going 0for isn't exactly what I expected either.
He's a good hitter and it's shown that he keeps getting better with age because his approach is getting better. I'm not expecting him to hit .400 or something because that's unrealistic. But I would like him to hit .320ish. That's not too much to ask from him I think.
I told everyone in that thread about him being called up that he was ready. And yet some people were all freaked out about it. Danks is pretty dang good. And has a future with the Sox.

Since he hasn't done it before in a 15 year career I would suggest that is a bit unrealistic. It isn't impossible mind you, but Konerko has been playing out of his mind to start the year. And that wasn't going to continue for the whole year at age 36.

not really when the last 2 years he hit 300 and 312. the way he started this season there is no reason to not think it could happen.

He has hit above .300 counting this season 5 times, and never above .313. If that is .320ish, sure he could do it, but to think he is likely to hit well above that is silly.
And he only hit .312 or more once before 2010.
So it's not like you look at his stats and say that it's impossible for him to hit
.320. He can do it.
And we'll just see what happens at the end of the year![]()
You can't be serious when every post I have said about LaHair is that his production is going to go down. Nice try though.but a career minor leaguer in lahair is different right?
