Lions fans on suicide watch
Not really. They knew that Johnson was leaving this year as he could have the year before but chose to give it one more run with the Lions in hopes of winning a superbowl. They've known Glenn is likely on the way out as well. It'd be different if you weren't expecting it.

Yesterday's Eddie George interview was a totally transparent move to be Rooney rule compliant so that they could hire BJ today. Thanks, Eddie 🫡

Eddie is smart. He got his name out there. I had no clue he was coaching and I’m sure the majority of other people didn’t either. He can and should leverage this to a better coaching gig in college

Who knows, maybe the bears and Ben take him as a rb coach or something

Fair enough, I'm just rubbing it in cuz they said he wouldn't come to Chicago lol

The entire draft should be OL/DL save one for a RB (would love Henderson but since he'll likely be gone I wouldn't mind Giddons)

The only rb I like in this draft is Henderson.

Stay away from scootybooty , and guy endorsed by Daniel is trash

Yep, and I have no doubt he will be a Head Coach in the NFL at some point. Too soon.

Schefter has known this for a while clearly.

Guy tried to warn mcaffee but they said the bears suck
I think he had a pretty good understanding what Johnson was thinking and where he preferred.

I can’t say I am real familiar with Allen as a DC but on paper at least I love it. Proven track record so BJ can focus on offense.
Just from playing NO a few times, I have the impression that they will blitz freely.

Other than that, he has longevity, going from DC with NO for several years before taking the promotion for three seasons. Marks in his favor all around.

What a day!

This is the beginning of “we won the off season” season…

The Bears can't even win that, normally.

Let everyone take a damn victory lap while the good vibes last. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Schefter also floating Dennis Allen is the top candidate to become DC.

I like this pairing a lot. Love they're ditching Cover who for Cover 1 multi-front 4-2-5/3-4 hybrid, and like Fangio did for Akiem Hicks, ideally Allen does for Gervon and get him to the next level. Going to need a pass rusher and a 350 lb fatty NT.

Please start revamping the OL by firing Chris Morgan into the sun.

Getting Billings back healthy will be key. And yes, they need another pass rusher along with an entire new interior OL and competition at LT.
