Time for Jay Cutler to be the quarterback Chicago has always wanted. Cutler is the quarterback Chicago deserves not the one it needs right now.

He needs to put da team on his back doe.

Jay Cutler Calls The Score Clowns [Audio]

By Shredder on November 26, 2013

Jay Cutler made his weekly appearance with ESPN 1000 on Monday with Waddle and Silvy, and much of the time it really is entertaining, with instances of pure gold.

This week, when taking about a rumor started by 670′s Matt Abbatacola that Cutler was getting surgery and likely to be out for the season, Cutler calls the Score clowns, stating he didn’t even know who the guy was.

Do you believe Cutler, or do you think athletes listen to the media and read newspapers and websites more than they lead on? You can listen to the full hour of Jay Cutler appearing on ESPN 1000 (Waddle and Silvy) below. Skip to approx 14:00 mark for the clown comment, bro.

These next three games SHOULD determine Jay Cutler's future in Chicago. The fun will begin when he screws up and the apologists come out and say "Well he needs time to shake off the rust." The Bears are in a must win position so Jay doesn't get time to shake off any rust. Lose and the season is over.

Makes sense. McCown having a career year, but lets go with the guy who hasn't been playing.

It does make sense to try and answer the question of whether Cutler can be the long term QB for the bears.

Actually, makes perfect sense.

Some people may have already decided that Cutler just isn't capable of being the guy. But the coaching staff obviously wants to see more before coming to that conclusion. Really has nothing to do with McCown and everything to do with the future of this team.

Speaking of clowns, did anyone ever mention why Kyle kissed that young lady? Did he actually get a phone number from it?

Damn. Talk about a high pressure game for Cutler. Could this be the most pressure he has ever faced?

I mean, in a lot of ways, the remaining games are his final audition to stay in a great system with a very good offensive HC and OC, a solid OL, top 10 HB, and dominant WRs....

If he fails his audition, chances are he's going to a crap or near crap team.

It will be very interesting to see how Cutler responds.
Right..Cause the coaches will decide his future on 1 game that came while he was rusty after an injury as opposed to his body of work this season..Atta boy there Gil Brandt
