Oh, you're desperately trying for a gotcha moment. ?
No, it's just dumb to assume that there isn't a large college football following just because you don't follow it. How do you think spectator sports make so much money? There's usually a college football thread on this forum. I'm going to assume more than a couple are avid fans.

How many hours of college football do you watch per week?

I'm a casual fan, usually try to watch Michigan and Purdue. Also will try to catch some of the big name players that will be coming into the draft when I can. But I'm not talking about me, otherwise I would've mentioned being an avid fan. I'm pointing out the flaw in your absolutism that no one could've possibly seen Jalen Carter, or that large swaths of the population don't watch a billion dollar sport on the basis that you don't follow it.

Lol @ "absolutism."

Once again a CCS member doesn't know what a question mark is.

Yes, assuming that no one did it is absolutism. Assuming that people don't watch an abundance of spectator sports is absolutism.

I do. Well, I did. I did watch highlight reels too though. In the past a random reel may have led me to charting plays if I saw certain intangibles. Id rather chart plays than watch 'a game'. Im not about that life anymore though. sorry JA.

I did chart a baker mayfield dozen on carter when i was drunk bored a while ago. decent prospect. Hads some pros. Some ? marks. +- shit like any prospect. i wasnt blown away to where id be pounding the table. wasn't disappointed either..

Highlight reels can def be deceiving, butz anyone with a brane knows what theyz highlights are for.

I didn't say no one does. I said we have at least one GA fan (operative phrase "at least" - implying there might be more.) And asked the question "Who on CCS does that?"

I never made the statement "No one watches college football, and I know this because I don't."

You're injecting a lot of assumptions yourself trying to make a simple statement into a "gotcha."

Me questioning how many GA fans are on the board doesn't mean I think NO ONE watches ANY college football which you implied by pointing out how much money college football makes....like wtf does that have to do with questioning how many CCS members watched 3 GA games?

Sorry bro, I'm done with the back and forth.

There are a few posters who scrutinize my every word looking for a "gotcha." It's like I have to put legal disclaimers and annotations with every post.

Best part is, I wasn't looking for a gotcha. It's already built in by the fact that the NCAA pulls in over a billion dollars lol. Or that spectator sports, in general, are a multi-billion dollar industry. It's just a weird flex to think that no one consumes much spectator sports because he doesn't.

I didn't even take issue with him saying most people here probably didn't watch much Georgia. Chicago is most likely big twenty and Notre Dame followers.

All I can say from the Georgia games I've seen is that their defense is ridiculous, and I'll take anyone off that front seven. But even when I pay attention to college players, it's more offense for fantasy football reasons. I don't want to spend 1k plus and not have a leg up on incoming rookies.

I'll look more for Carter in the upcoming playoff for sure. I think Georgia is going to smash Ohio St. I would love to see Michigan's run game vs that Georgia defense for the title. Even tho I think Georgia is probably gonna roll through both teams.

So did Eddie Goldman. For reference Aaron Donald had 29.5.

A highly disruptive player no doubt but in any other draft is he a top 5 selection?
Will Sutton had 20.5 career sacks including 13 his junior year. Sutton's 13 sacks were the most by an interior defensive lineman at the college level in like 30 years. Sutton had more sacks as a DT at Arizona State than Donald had at Pitt 11.

Then for his senior year, Will Sutton got fat and the rest is a representation of how hard your career can fail if you don't take working out seriously.
