Hasn’t he won like 20+ regular season games in a row prior to today? I’d say that’s pretty good

OP's opinion may be unpopular, but I don't think it's that off base.

After Hurts' second season, people in Philly weren't entirely sold on him. He was knocked for not having good accuracy on deep balls and not anticipating throws well or being able to throws receivers open.

The Eagles then traded for one of the better WRs in the league in AJ Brown, and added him to a team that had arguably the best O-line in the league and with one of the best pass rushing defenses of all time. Combine that with a weak schedule, and that's what led to them getting the top seed in the NFC. Their easy schedule continued when they faced an overmatched Giants team in the playoffs, and then essentially played a 49ers team with no QB for 3 quarters.

Did Jalen Hurts play well last season? Yes. But everything around him was set up perfectly. Great talent around him, both on offense and defense, and an easy schedule. Any Pro QB should succeed with all that going for them.

But this season, he has all that going for him again but has seemingly taken a major step back in his play. Everything people were concerned about with him 2 years ago is rearing its ugly head again.

Both Hurts and the Eagles are lucky that his massive extension was structured in a way that allows them to basically keep this group together for the next 2-3 seasons because that will help cover up some of Hurts' deficiencies while extending their championship window.

Basically, I don't think Hurts is a bad QB, but I don't think he's elite either. He's someone you can win with in a good system with a solid team. Take that away, and I think Hurts isn't good enough to overcome it, like a Mahomes, Brady, etc.

Honestly agree with @greg23

We need daniel to tell us his picks every day so we can all go against them.

Ryan Poles should hire him for the front office so he can avoid all the players in the draft Daniel likes.

Never seen a guy have so many bad takes constantly, and then doubling down to defend them

Danny boy is the MOST consistently wrong person I have ever seen in my life. His takes on anything and everything are reliably wrong.

I live in Las Vegas and have made serious bank betting against everything he has ever said. The guy is a re-tar-ded goldmine.
