Were these the same officials that did the Nashville/Colorado game? I ask in all seriousness...

Referees for the game in Chicago - Mike Leggo and Kevin Pollock

Linesmen - Andy McElman, Mark Shewchyk

Referees for the game in Denver - Dan O'Rourke, Ghislain Hebert

Linesmen - Tony Sericolo, Derek Amell

Might as well have been, but it seems a few of them are ones that not even I have heard of before. Never heard of our games' linemen before, though.

Clearly the officials don't know what they are doing. I can't assume they are just this bad at their job.

The officiating has been awful as a whole the whole season and it boggles my mind that they are supposed to be professionals. Widely inconsistent with their line not only fluctuating between games but within periods. I do like that they are calling more interference and not allowing certain teams to use picks as a legit defensive strategy. But I'd like to see more consistency in what they think is goalie interference, there's been a boatload of goals disallowed on questionable goalie interference calls.

But you'll have to seeing as it's plain as fucking day that this happened RIGHT in front of a fucking official. Not unlike the Torres hit happening literally, only a couple of feet away from a zebra---so much so that he had to jump up/hop to miss getting bowled over. I gotta say, they make mistakes of course because we're all human but taken on the whole I have always given the NFL officials a lot of fucking credit for the shit they are able to see and call on those large fields even before the video review era---those mo-fos are good.

They all let Hansen get away with crosschecking a ref a few weeks ago. It shouldn't be that surprising. In fact, one of the refs definitely saw him deliver the crosscheck to another zebra because he grabbed Hansen and skated him in the opposite direction. What that ref should have done was escort him to the bench and give him a game ending penalty.

Yup. Pollack watched the entire play with Hossa happen.

Just as he watched Toews get crosschecked into the Canucks goal, and Kane get jacked by Bieksa.

The hit that started it all off, with Bollig retaliating, the offender was a foot off the ice at time of impact. Meaning he left.

Pollack and Lego are both fucking terrible. No question. Sad part is AHL officiating is even worse and that's the next generation.

Its probably the longevity of it all due to Hansen's history prior to this.

Shanny is in the powder room preparing to go in front of the video cameras to make the decision. He needs to look good.

They really need to hurry up and announce the punishment so that we can find out how bad Hossa is hurt.
