That’s pretty true but there have been some bears teams of old who were playing decent and then laid an egg against a team like the commies
True, which makes me think of J Cutler....anyone know what he's been up to lately?

I heavily doubt hes playing lets be real lol.

He's just doing this so the bears prepare for both QB's. If jayden plays the bears will be taking shots at him all game, this is a team who is the cleanest at tackling in the entire NFL

I think the fact he they pushed him hard in the afternoon practice, according to them, means if he's ok tomorrow, he could very well play.

Let's hope so, would be cool to see these two go at it this early in their career.

If he plays, he’ll be in a flak jacket and most likely taking a numbing shot. I don’t know if that’s the best idea if he’s my franchise cornerstone.
Lol how do you think half the players in the NFL get through the season?

Honestly my biggest concern is the week off and losing momentum. They already started slow as shit even when playing well. I hope they don’t lay a turd the first half.
Not sure if this is true for anyone else, but that last game feels like eons ago.

The line jumped to Chicago -3 when Jayden started missing practices, and it's staying at -3 even with Jayden's "limited practice" today. So it appears that the betting public also believes this is just gamesmanship, as others have mentioned.

Also, Brandon Coleman is out with a concussion, and I believe that's their starting LT.

Half the players in the NFL are not franchise altering QBs. Laugh all you want. They’re going to be careful with him.

Ithink he will start..

Dr. Chao who use to be a team doctor listed off 5 different reasons he doesn't see him playing and rich Gannon agreed he thought it was unlikely. Chao thinks he might not even play next week

A quarterback isn’t out all week and then plays Sunday. That’s just not how it works, especially when it’s your franchise guy. Can’t afford making it worse.

Is it possible he plays? Sure.

Is it probable? Nope.

Seems highly unlikely that Daniels plays, especially considering he wasn’t even there during the portion of Friday’s practice viewable to the media.

This is classic “keep em guessing” gamesmanship before they rule him out on Sunday morning. Bank on it.

Quinn saying week to week on Monday told us everything we needed to know. He'll be questionable next Sunday would be my guess.

But also, more importantly than a qb can't miss practice then play, it's extremely difficult for a rookie to do that. Also, if he's in pain it could slow down him sliding and put him at risk of a worse injury.

I thought he'd play with what I expected to be a cartilage injury that didn't immediately take him out of the game he hurt it in. Current events would have me think otherwise but it's not out of the question either. If you're protecting your investment , you don't 'go hard' in a practice a couple days before the game. They will probably see how he throws today and go from there. That injury is painful but doesn't represent future risk to the player. They left him in last weeks game for another 10 plays to finish the drive... with some runs. I get that they didn't know the extent of the injury at the time but he'd already shown he can function and it's a ding that represents little risk outside of pain.

With a hard practice yesterday, easy enough to see if he can function and numb the spot. I think he suits up whether he starts or not. Mariota having a great 132 PR outing last weeks does muddy things up a bit more.

He probably still had adrenaline flowing immediately after then he realized how bad it hurt after a few minutes and notified others.

Quinn said he went hard in practice when in fact he didn't even practice in the portion open to media so nobody knows what he actually did. I don't really buy it as anything more than gamesmanship.

Dr. Chao actually said cartilage injury is more painful than a fracture and that players and doctors don't like doing injections anymore after tyrod got his lung punctured
