Still not under 6 foot like the other guy said. I have been slightly concerned. Prefer a couple more inches but I'm sure he will adapt. That td pass to DJ Moore he was about engulfed to the point where he couldn't see anything.

He had like 5 yards in front of him? WTF

The edges collapsed, the interior held up as well as possible on that play

The one time his center wasn't pushed back into him. lol. Probably concerned he'd get his toes stepped on again.

Speaking of would have been nice to have some insurance and sign Conner McGovern like the Saints just did off the jets pS.

I will add that the one thing he has going for him with respect to the media hounds coming for him.... is they wanted him... and took victory laps for weeks after we got him. Those guys NEVER want to appear to be wrong on something..... so Caleb's leash will be longer than most. They are going to blame everything under the sun before blaming Caleb.

And, in truth, there are problems - the Oline sucks, the coaching sucks, etc. But these were all things that sucked under Fields too (and Mitch to a lesser extent), and the media did not care because they wanted those guys out. If this keeps up, at some point we have to circle back to Caleb as the common denominator in all of this.

The height thing though... that was a bit a shocker. You can literally see the difficulty he is having seeing to the next level. The coaches are going to have to help him out.

Well, this and our OL is dogshit.

Waldron keeps trying to do complex schemes when we cant even do a zone run play

The commanders OL looked fantastic tonight. That wont happen at all this year for caleb
this board has been bitching about the OL for years now, but most give Poles a pass even though he's done little to fix it, 1 #1 and a bunch of band-aids

As it stands right now at this point, I don’t know how someone can say Daniels isn’t better.

That said, that doesn’t have to be the end of the story. Williams could lap him next month or by the end of the season, or at some point next season.

Daniels could also keep growing and progressing and stay ahead of Williams. But yes, as of right now, Daniels is better as a whole package.

People can point to coaching and protection and all sorts of stuff. And those things are fair to point out.

But you can just tell by watching who’s calm, cool and collected. Right now, that’s Daniels.

Tell me about all the clutch throws he made to put away the Bears in the 2nd half. The Hail Mary is just pure luck and an idiotic play by Stevenson.

Plus, if the ref standing by their RT called any of three obvious holds, the game is over.

Brutal loss…

Caleb made plays late to help put them in position to win.

He played bad but kept grinding.
