He's asking for insane money at his age and with his skill set. He's a damned good player but i wouldn't drop 7 mm on him.

Either way, it's irrelevant because we don't have it to spend.

What cheeses me off is that for a few mill we could have signed Talbot, or we could have bitten off a little more and gotten Laich, and either of those guys would have been a great two-line center, allowing us to play Sharpy at his natural spot and move Bolland down to the three line.

I don't understand signing a bunch of borderline minor-leaguer, non-scoring goon types on a team that wins with puck control in the offensive zone. There's no way the defenders we signed yesterday can skate in our system.

I'll have to wait and see on Olesz (or however you spell it), but so far this has not been the free agency season i was expecting...

Every time someone signs i think back to the money the Wizzer got and it blows my mind. How can he be worth within a mill a year of what Brad frickin Richards got? Wow... Go Wizzer. Way to cash in...

Wow, Richards was offered more by other teams, but apparently he took a bit less cash to play for Torchetti.

Seems like the Kings offer was close and the Flames offered more. Don't know where the Leafs offer was.
