Blame the dumb ass GM's who gave guys like Eric Staal over 9 million (still cant get over that one). Weber 14 million etc etc even Malkin at 9.5 is fucking crazy for one of the most over-rated players in the league. can't blame Toews or Kane for asking for their due worth. I doubt it goes to 11 each as that sounds like agents playing the high card to start but when idiots like Staal are getting over 9 for never doing shit but winning a lucky cup and hitting the high minuses? Toews and Kane are both getting over 9 guaranteed. **** it..they are probably both getting 11 and it wont be Stans fault on this one the league gets blamed. Both Toews and Kane hold all the power in the bargaining. They know they have the org by the balls on this one. Which is rather sad within itself. Not an Orpik fan but I think the fit is good as a depth blueliner. His biggest issue is he isn't a puck moving blueliner. He could be a decent stay at home guy if he learnt how to control his hitting better and wasnt so stick happy. Pens did the right thing moving him and bringing in a better puck moving blueliner with Errorhoff but his lack defensive awareness might be the Pens downfall yet again. Still waiting for the Pens to trade or sign and actual 2 way blueliner who is top level quality. They need a duncan keith type and until then they wont win another cup. Letang and Errorhoff give them 2 good puck moving guys but Letang can't stay healthy and neither guys are lights out when it comes to actual defensive hockey.</p>
