Really would rather just PICK UP A FUCKING CENTER than **** with a guaranteed if healthy 80+ points. But Kane's defense has been great the last two seasons from his rookie season.

They tried that once before in the regular season. It lasted about 13 seconds. Kaner is not a center, never will be. It would be a disaster to see him being the pivot in a full 60. Well, 20 or so.



That said, if you are gonna **** around, the time to do it is now, in the preseason. Maybe in practices, scrimmages he isn't too bad. Tough shit, don't do it when it counts.

I am not too keen on giving Kane the center position, while his defensive game has improved I am not too sure about his faceoff skills and a part from Toews the Hawks are lacking in that department. However, for an experiment like that is what pre-season is for.
