Hey Kane was 66% in the circles last night. Not too shabby against a team that is generally good at face offs.

Kane did not look out of place at center. Let's continue the experiment.

NO. It's been fun, but kill it. With as great as he looked last night, I want Toews and Kane to stay together. Forever. Most dominant line in the league. Even if that means Sharpie to Center permanantly, and Brunette with Kane and Toews.

You're *** Mass.

I loved the way he played last night at center. The only time I was worried was when he snaked through 4 defenders at their blue line. I was worried someone was going to level him ala Scott Stevens on Paul Kareer-is-over.

Kane would have come back and scored an insurance goal and been forever known as OFF THE FLOOR! ON THE BOARD! PATRICK KANE!!

I didn't see most of the game, but I think i may have to agree with Eddie-O. He looked good in the position but wasn't tested defensively, and defensive play @Center is the bigest litimus test of whether or not someone can play there.

Luckily he doesn't suck at back checking.

I'm surprised Hossa has never tried center... although I don't think he has the vision on the ice that Kane does.

I don't like the idea of kane at center. I like seeing Kane and Toews on the same line. Maybe I'm just used to it that way but anytime they are broken up we dont seem to play as well and when put back together we suddenly start winning. I think Q tried that against nashville when we won the cup, we were struggling with them apart, together we got it going and won the series.

I think Kane played center well enough. It will either be him or Sharp centering the 2nd line. If Pirri sticks around and remians consistent can see him centering the 2nd line later in the season.

No way as Sharpie as #2 center. STK line is one of the most productive lines in the game. Reunite that line and just score a lot. Then fire Q and give it to havvy so Q can't **** with it again.

Who will you slot there if not Kane or Sharp? Pirri and Kruger just got sent to the Hogs by the way. And I don't mean wishful thinking, I mean reality, given the roster they have.

I think Sharp starts the season as our 2nd C. Kane didn't look too bad but he's more valuable to us on the wing then in the middle. I'm sure Stan will be watching the waiver wire over the next few days though, there's bound to be an older guy who gets thrown out there.

wow with Kruger going down dunno. I'd say Bolly at #2 and kruger on the 3rd but that got blown out. At this point I'd take sharp over kane at 2nd C but preferably I'd want the STK kept intact. that line is just so fucking deadly.

With Pirri and Kruger going to Rockford, and Q mentioning again that they like Kane at center, and the report is Bolland and Smith both doing better and will start skating with team, I'm guessing this for opening two games (while Carcillo is suspended):

Sharp-Toews-Saad

Brunette-Kane-Hossa

Bickell-Bolland-Frolik

Olesz-Smith-Mayers

Keith-Seabrook

Hjalmarsson-Leddy

Lepisto-Montador

Crawford

Emery

If Smith is unable to go - slide Mayers to 4C and play Scott 4R

The thing that pisses me off most about this, is not moving Kane to center, it's that this isn't some strange emergency situation! They've had almost two fucking years to fix this. I'm so fucking tired of not having a set fucking line up with lines we know are going to work and count on. Man is this starting to really grind my gears.

AT THIS POINT KANE SHOULDN'T FUCKING BE NEEDED AT CENTER. SHARP SHOULDN'T BE NEEDED AT CENTER. THERE SHOULD BE NO QUESTION MARK.

I think Sharp started his NHL career at center coming up in Philly...and was moved to wing into his NHL career and things worked out well? Players get moved around - it happens...

What if this helps Kane distribute the puck even better/giving him more ice? Or Hossa gets back to 40g/90pts with a passer like Kane dishing him the puck?

Tallon would have fixed it. Look at the panthers, they needed a whole new team, he went and got it. ALL HAIL DALE
