I dont see what the big deal is ... the Cubs got an ok reliever for a well below market value ... Good for them, I wish he was coming to the South Side

For 1.5M I wouldExcept for his time in New York, Wood blew in the AL. Glad we didn't get him.
For 1.5M I would
For 1.5M I would
For 1.5M I would
In cleveland he was just a guy
In New York he was just a guy
With the cubs he is this icon, and undeserving of the fame status. Which could be another reason he came back. he isnt just a guy here for some odd reason. he is worshipped like he is Nolan Ryan by the fans.
Have you seen his stats in Cleveland?
For 1.5M u release him if he sux
Fair enough. But why risk 1.5M when you can just get someone who you know is going to be good? I'm sick of these reclamation, lightning in a bottle, and low risk/hi-reward type signings and deals by the Sox*. I say just pony up the cash and get Soriano.
*next article idea.
Some of you guys need to go back to the other side and chill for awhile..

Sounds like he will be signing 1 year deals with team until he retires.
