At some point, Thibs really needs to look at himself in the mirror with this "more than enough" mantra he's pushed so long. Anyone remember the playoff series vs the Nets a couple of years ago? He rarely used Belinelli and didn't rely as much on Nate. But during the playoffs, when he had no choice, it became apparent that these guys could play and their minutes didn't line up with how good they were. Snell isn't as good as what you saw tonight. But he's probably better than what Thibs has allowed him to show to his point. Which brings us to the grand poobah of this matter--Doug McDermott.

Maybe Thibs should learn lessons from his own experience and give guys a chance to contribute before he absolutely needs them in a playoff setting.

"More than enough" ? Sure, but does Thibs have the stones to live up to that?

All-Star performance by Pau Gasol 26 points & 16 rebounds. But he's the problem and needs to be benched doe.

And Rose is a selfish ballhog with his 7 assists or whatever

If you want to carry on like this, fine! Just know that every time Rose shoots 35% (even when under 20 shots) I'll be referencing this and calling you out in particular. Trust me. You're in for a lot of fun. But this is what you've invited with comments like this.

I love it when guys think 1/82 somehow proves their cause.

Or here's an idea. When Rose plays well, he gets props. When he has a bad game, then lay it on him.

At what point did Rose take a pay cut? At what point did he offer to give his salary back for when he was cleared to play but didn't? And even if you ignore that, Rose makes the kind of money (Bulls and Adidas) that justifies high expectations. So this "play well sometimes and throw him a party" stuff doesn't fly. He's supposed to be good almost all the time based on what he makes.

The way some of you cheerlead for him makes me wonder, does he even ask before he puts it in your a*s?

You sure care a lot about Jerry Reinsdorf's money.

I guarantee that Rose has generated way more money for the Bulls than he will ever receive from the team.

Nobody is good at all times. Even Jordan had his off days.

Rose is a superstar talent. Without him, this team could never win a championship or even come close. If sitting out games helped him get back to where he needed to be then so be it.

I should've realized when I saw the boxscore that the only reason Jimmy's minutes would be that low would be if he got hurt.

I count 15/53 games where he shot 35% or lower. The odds are in my favor bro. :bro:

What's funny is he used that 1/82 to prove his cause making it sound like he was stating Rose's 11 turnovers to 1 assist was the norm.

I'm sure if you count the games where he has more than 5 turnovers you end up with a single digit number.
