his next highest after .500 is .450 which is what i would consider average and then after that his numbers fall to lower 40's which isn't horrible but not mr efficiency either

Keep in mind you guys are talking about a player that missed the last two years due to TWO major knee surgeries. When are we gonna cut him some slack? Not too long ago people were saying he was done and making fun of his suits and eating skittles on the bench. I'd say he's doing pretty good. :dunno:

yeah even if the numbers line up he certainty seemed to have more "off nights" this season then his MVP year

partly due to shot selection...no way a 31% shooter should be taking 5.6 threes a game

to put that in prospective Kyle Korver is taking 5.8

Yeah I'm saying that it should be expected that he's having more off nights than his MVP year...it makes perfect sense. Yes his shot selection has been poor at times...idk what the deal with that is. I'm not saying he shouldn't take 3s at all, but he should focus more on the midrange game again instead of taking like 6 3s a game. I can kind of see why he'd take a lot of 3s, but obviously his 3pt shooting has not improved so he should dial it back. What we've seen lately out of Rose (less 3s, more midrange) has produced better results. Hopefully he realizes this and sticks to it.

Side note: shocked Korver is only taking 5.8 3s. You'd think they'd try to get him shooting 10 per game at the rate he's hitting at. I know he's the 4th option on that team, but still...

Rose needs to rediscover that mid-range game...he used to be great in the mid but his MVP year he started thinking he was a 3 point shooter...now hes completely lost it and thinks hes Ray Allen
