Why do they need to have a wide range search? Why can’t we just hire people who know what they want because they know what to do? Remember when we hired Trestman after 75 interviews the Chiefs hired Reid after like 1 day.

There’s no Reid this year.

He went 13-19 in college with Patrick Mahomes, and was fired. He was ran out of Arizona because Kyler Murray hated his offense and the team was spiraling. He has proven to be a terrible head coach. That experience tells me to stay away. Him being on the staff when Riley called plays does nothing for me, and there are definite signs his offense is fading again. I haven't heard one good reason to consider Kingsbury. I cant understand how he keeps getting hired in the NFL.
He also refused to confront players and they walked all over him in Arizona. I don’t understand why you would want this guy as your HC. Another great coordinator, crappy HC type of guy. His nickname in Arizona was “Coach Bro.” The next HC can’t be some sissy pants that refuses to tell players when they are messing up, this roster just went through that with Waldron on the offensive side.

Guessing you didn't watch many of those games. They punted 17 times in the three games prior to today. They struggled bad against the Giants and Dallas was propped up by that 86 yard TD worse than the hail Mary against the Bears, another game their O looked bad. Many articles have been written about their struggles before today's game.

What's your thoughts on all of his head coaching experience? You know, the job you want him for.

Oh yeah, I'm aware. It was a disaster. I am not at all concerned the Bears will hire him, but he is in about last place of candidates I would want.

I want to interview him. I don’t have a favorite. He’s one of 5 or so that interest me.

I see his prior experience as a plus. Not every coach or player succeeds the first time

It's his third time. And both of the first two were awful. Again, well below .500 with Patrick Mahomes in college, and his end in Arizona was Bears like. As others have mentioned he was not respected by players. What gives you confidence to hand over Caleb's future to him?

NFL experience obviously.

How many times do I have to explain? The Commanders have been scoring all year with a rookie QB. Have him handle the offense and hire an experienced D coordinator

You are not addressing the fact that he has been a terrible head coach. It has a lot more to do with hiring a defensive coordinator, which wasn't his problem in Arizona. He was really bad as a head coach, and him and Kyler were barely on speaking terms. Different job than coordinator.

It’s obvious the guy can’t handle a locker room of professionals, yet Bears fans still want him because a weak leader is what this team needs! (Amazing after the disasters of Eberflus & Trestman)

Obviously we disagree. Not much more I can say. I have the same concerns but he’s definitely someone worth interviewing

Has he been coaching from the press box all year?

Who do you want @thenewguy ?
Anyone but Kliff 🤣. I would be all for Ben Johnson or Vrabel. I also don't know what the candidate pool looks like. There's always surprises, and If McVay or Shanahan hit the market, I would absolutely give up draft picks for them. If Stefanski is out in Cle, I would love him. I am also hoping Brown does well. A lot of people in the NFL think highly of him.

Multiple people have questioned Ben Johnsons skills as a “leader” too for what it’s worth.
