I think this “command the room” thing is getting a little overblown. Sure you want that but if you are not an idiot coach and you start winning you will “command the room”. If Dan Campbell was 1-11 his passionate speeches would look idiotic.

Does Shannahan command a room or does he simply have the buy in from the players that he will put them in a place to win? What about Lafluer? Etc.

If they get Ben Johnson and a high profile DC who constantly set a clear direction and give the players a path to winning the room will fall in line.

Just something to think about.
I think command the room means I’ll be honest with you and direct. I’ll have answers when things don’t go right and if I don’t I won’t BS you.

I’ll do things for your benefit more than mine. Think about Dean Smith or Coach K.

There is a pattern of Kliff doing this though.

Joe Brady just got announced by The Insiders on NFL Morning show. Brown also mentioned as well as Johnson. I think this may just be stating the obvious, but worth mentioning.
Yeah Brown and Johnson have both been mentioned and are two of the obvious but i like the idea of bringing Joe Brady in for a interview.

Brady is one I don’t really get. Doesn’t seem experienced enough to me

Oh man, really bad cheap shot on Trevor Lawrence by the Texans.

edit: oops, wrong thread
Texans are a very, very dirty team. **** that team. I hope someone blows Stroud’s knees out.

That’s fair but so far this season second half swoon hasn’t materialized
lol. They started off 7-2. They are now 7-5(soon to be 8-5). They barely moved the ball against the Eagles and scored a garbage time TD to make the game look respectable

JD is 14-15 at half time. With 2 passing TDs and one rushing.

Given what Kingsbury has done this year with a rookie. His prior head coach experience and relationship with CW I don’t get how he wouldn’t be on anyone’s top list

I suppose anything is possible. They have lost 3 in a row and should have lost 4 out of the last 5 if it wasn't for the hail mary debacle.
But the offense is still playing well and the losses don't only come down to the offense, their defense isn't that good.

They lost at home to the garbage Cowboys last week. Beating a helpless Titan team isn't much to write home about.
Was that loss on the offense? Real question cause i can't remember exactly how that game went.

Who is the D coordinator for the Eagles again?

If you’re gonna have a bad game that’s the guy who will cause it.

Who do you want?

That was so nasty and dirty as hell. I hope he gets suspended and fined to go with getting kicked out of that game.

He's not but really like what he's done with that Bills offense that had nobody even close to a #1 option at receiver until they got A.Cooper.

But when you have Josh Allen sometimes you don't need to have a true #1 WR.
