I don't understand why they'd challenge this. Ruling on the field is a fumble. Best case scenario, it's like a 15 yard gain for a punt. Worst case you lose a timeout in a close game. Only one of those is likely to have a huge impact on the outcome.

Now....pete Carroll challenged a questionable spot in the 2nd quarter to go from 1st and 10 minn to 3rd and 1 minn...which they easily converted.....that was a John fox-esque challenge.
