Kirk Hinrich is a filler. Its obviously not going to win us a championship.

This place seriously freaks out entirely too much.

Many are right about many of the people here. You don't want to trade your own players. You think too highly of all of them until things fall apart. Now nearly everyone is on board with trading everyone except Rose.

Irrationality is a staple of the majority of fans of almost any sport. It's the reason why we are fans & not management.

I for one have been in the case of not wanting to trade Noah, unless a big man was brought back in return. I am still on board with that. Luol Deng is probably the most trade-able asset once he is healthy from his wrist injury. Boozer is not tradeable..until the last year of his contract..if he is still here. And even then, no one will want him.

Agree with this. However when Asik is matched (AND HE WILL BE  ), it will give the team the flexibility of being able to deal Noah, though I'm cringing at the thought of Omer being our starting center at any time. Deng & Gibson would get the most back in any trade, except for the fact that Taj is on a small scale contract but his value is probably the highest of anyone not named Rose.

This is going to be a lost season. There is not a whole lot the Bulls can do. They are strung deep in bad contracts. Boozer was the win now approach, unfortunately it was a terrible contract. If the Atlanta Hawks had never offered Joe Johnson that mammoth contract, he'd be here right now and it is entirely more likely that the Bulls would have beaten Miami in 10-11. They would have also relied a hell lot less on Derrick Rose and he wouldnt have worn down so much in the playoffs last year....and then maybe we don't see what happened to him this year.

I don't think the season is totally lost. It will be a struggle for certain. Anything can happen during the season so I'm not writing the team off just yet. As for the hypotheticals, they are just that, hypothetical. I don't like playing that game for the same reason I won't throw the towel in for next season.

The Bulls remain a 1 man show and will for another year. Their best bet is to move Deng (and others) in 13-14...if not its 14-15 when things really translate. Its hard to say what the NBA will look like then.

The NBA will only be 3 teams by then (MIA, OKC, BK). All other teams will have dissolved into the NBDL. :D

I would honestly rather see this team play like the 96-97 Spurs and put themselves in perfect lottery position for the #1 pick.... I'm looking long term. Of course I will get fed up if things dont happen in the next few seasons.

That will never happen. For one, the team has too many talented players, & two, it's not in the makeup of any said players or their head coach to ever stop fighting & giving their all for the sake of victory.

it could be the other side of the spectrum

as in the said head coach demands too much and everyone gets injured, thus the master plan of tanking is created through an ironic twist:lol:
