Only if they have a lifespan of a worker bee.
Not quite sure what you're getting at, but 2008 Ben Gordon was our starting SG. Next season Hinrich started at SG after John Salmons sucked his way to shooting like 30% from the field on a good day and eventually got traded away.

You said
Kirk will not be our starting shooting guard.

My point was simply that people were saying the same thing last go too. And this isn't me saying that I want to see Kirk starting as our SG, but we might have our hands tied at some point of this season(thanks to a number of possibilities, and the head-scratchers of moves that have been made thus far/lack thereof.)

I thought this was a great point. Lets compare one average NBA player (Kirk Hinrich) to the best qualities of three other players, ignore the shortcomings of those three players, completely ignore the fact that the MVP later arrived on the team, and conclude that getting rid of that one average player was the main reason the team got better.

I'm not familiar with TheStig, but I see he fits in well with the other romper room rejects of this forum. I didn't think there were more Rami's and SP94's wandering aimlessly on the internet, but I stand correct. TheStig...you've finally found a place thats a match for your intellect...welcome!

He is an old school Ben Gordon fan...he is bitter with Hinrich because he thinks that Reinsdorf picked Hinrich over Gordon. Its a bit much after all this time...and Gordon STILL has to pay his way into an allstar game.

But they were right. Ben Gordon was our starting shooting guard.

Only after Hinrich got injured for most of the season. At the beginning of the season, Gordon never got in the game until 2 minutes left in the first quarter, if at all.

And even after Hinrich got injured, they tried starting Sefolosha and even Larry "filth vommit" Hughes :obama:, and whomever esle they could find before they finally starting Gordon.

This concludes our history lesson.

Help me understand something here. All year long I heard the "experts" say our team was deep. Deepest team in the NBA. Great bench. So THIS we are blowing up and not touching the starting rotation?
B/c the starting lineup is full of shit contracts that are close to unmovable. Tough to "blow that up".
Hou, they were key parts of the team. .
A team that without Rose in the playoffs wasn't that damn good.
