Rose-Butler-Deng-Aldridge-Noah with Thibs at the helm would spank Miami up and down the street. Good lawd. I feel like I'm just getting my hopes up but it's hard to not imagine the potential greatness of that pickup

Lol...no, they wouldn't spank them up and down the street. I do think they would be better, but thinking you could get Aldridge without a major part leaving your team is unrealistic. And don't forget about Indiana. Its not some forgone conclusion that the Bulls would be better than them.

LOL we're not spanking shit. We have to stay completely healthy for once before we actually think about taking down Miami

Aldridge isn't getting traded unless Portland gets an offer they deem fair. He's got two years remaining on his deal... so they aren't in a hurry to trade him. They've got a year and a half to do so.

It would take Noah.

They are not going to take Boozer in return

On trade machine a trade that works: Aldridge for Noah and Gibson. Port. would jump on it.

At that point I'd try to trade Deng for a top pick and try to get one of the 2 centers Alex Len or Noel.

Then Start Butler at the 3 and Hinrich at the 2 and have them play thumb screw D with Rose and Aldridge putting up 20+ per.

Boozer I'd have as a swing man 4/5 to keep a rotation going with the Rook C and Aldridge.

But thinking that Port would take Als for Booz....:rolling:

Agreed.

It would all depend on whether or not they like Mirotic IMO. If they think he's Detleft Scrhempf like the Bulls do---then maybe we have something. If the Blazers think he's Nikoloz Tskitishvili....they would tell LA to create a crush on another team.

If I'm Portland- I'm asking for Butler, Mirotic, Charlotte pick, #20 and get a 3rd team to throw in a 1st Round pick for Deng. Now of course the Bulls wouldn't do that as that would be all of their young assets, but would you do that without Bulter involved? I would as the Bulls- but I doubt Portland would.

People, stop bringing up Carlos Boozer!!! Aldridge is a 27 year old who can score 20ppg with his back to the basket. You don't trade THAT for Boozer.

:pray:What about that Charlotte pick?

You're wrong. GMs wake up every day trying to find a way to trade for Boozer.

Could you imagine if someone traded for Boozer? We'd all fall out of our chairs. The only way Booz gets sent out of here is via amnesty.

I'd trade Noah, when he can score 20 ppg then I'll over value hime like you guys seem to be, you win in the league by SCORING which is something that is Noah's biggest deficiency, He's still injury prone, and offensively limited, and while I admire the heart, and hustle, Bull fans and Pax need to realize that only gets you so far, and doesn't get you that trophy that's sitting in MIA right now...

Has there been a legit source for all of this? Mike McGraw isn't really an inside source, or very reputable for that matter.

The reason the Bulls are competitive in games is b/c their defense is so good, and Noah's offensive game is much better than you're giving him credit for. His back-to-the-basket/post-moves are minimal, but he's one of the best passing big men in the league, as well as one of the best put-back scorers in the league among Centers.

It was a bad trade -- all on upside...That's the problem w/ players w/ a high ceiling; they typically have a lower floor when it comes to prospects.

regardless, they traded Thomas to the Bobcats and will get a lottery pick in the next cpl years for it. That pick may or may not be as good as Aldridge, but -- dems da breaks.

Chris Haynes from csnnw...idk if you consider him realiable

From what I've read, McGraw has exaggerated a bit. LaMarcus wants to leave IF Portland doesn't have plans to add more big talent. He doesn't necessarily want to be moved no matter what but if Portland doesn't add more pieces, he would like to be moved and Chicago would be his #1 choice.

Also apparently the Bulls and Blazers met over a month ago and discussed a trade that would bring him here.

Us being competitive because of our defense hasn't gotten us any closer to a chip or beating MIA, let alone IND who I think is probably more of threat in the east, with Granger coming back

I pay no attention to the Trailblazers, except when they are playing the Bulls. Can anyone tell me if this guy can play defense at all ?
or will he be like Boozer (or even worse)?

He isn't great but he's a lot better than Boozer. I'd say he's above average.

Deng for Aldridge straight up works in the trade machine. I did it a few days ago, their salaries are only $195,000 apart.

Get it done.
