Well I'll be damned if this is true...

Word is, Aldridge wants to escape from Portland's rebuilding project and has made it known that he'd like to land in Chicago.
Deng for Aldridge won't get it done. The Blazers want Joakim Noah in return and the Bulls don't want to give up the superior defensive big man.

Would you give up Noah for Aldridge? The argument could be made given Noah's lingering injuries with his foot and such that it could turn out well for us. It would be ridiculously awesome if we could get away with getting Aldridge without Noah though. obviously.

But important thing is, someone said they would like to come here. This doesn't happen very often.

No, but I'd give up Boozer, Hinrich and a 2nd round pick for him.

Hmmm back where he should have been playing all this time  Honestly we can't give up Noah for him...he means to much to the team and we need his interior defense and rebounding. LaMarcus is a really good player and I'd definitely LOVE to have him over Boozer but LaMarcus isn't THAT much better than Boozer to warrant giving up Noah.

Aldridge has two seasons left so he will be cheapest at the 14/15 trade deadline.

I think any move needs to have Boozer in it.

What about Aldridge/Matthews/Freeland for Boozer/Hamilton/Hinrich/Butler and a pick(s)? Something like that. The Trailblazers blow that mess up and get out of some longer contracts. They also can get the Bobcats Pick.

If they trade Aldridge I think younger and cheaper might appeal.

Actually this is a pipe dream too.

I don't see much point in giving up Noah for Aldridge.

3rd team might need to be involved unless blazers want taj gibson+bobcats pick or something along those lines

they dont need deng since they got batum...so a 3rd team would have to jump in that wants deng and has pieces portland wants

Maybe this is why we're trying to get Thomas Robinson?

yes possibility trob could be involved

Bulls can't trade Gibson now because he signed that extension. They would need to wait till a few months into the season.

Portland doesn't want Deng or Boozer. We need a third team. Give them everything but Rose, Noah, and Butler. Aldridge is that good.

Everybody who thinks any team is going to take Boozer, have you heard of ANY team calling the Bulls to ask about Boozer? Stop acting like some GM is going to suddenly think, yeah Carlos is the answer to what ails us, or more accurately, sure I don't mind pulling off a bonehead trade before I get fired.

Where are all the Tyrus Thomas backers who thought he was the better pick draft night back then? The Bulls talked themselves into wanting him and didn't even get anything of value doing it. So while Aldridge wants to come here, there's little chance of finding a way to do it.

Gibson, Hinrich and Teague for Aldridge, with the Bulls using the Korver trade exception to absorb some of his salary. Boozer moves to the second unit, with Rose, Butler, Deng and Noah joining him in the starting lineup. Do it. Or we could also find a taker for Deng (CHRIST ALMIGHTY, THE WASHINGTON DEAL, PLZ), snag either Porter or Bennett with the #6 pick and a shooting guard at #20.

Ur welcome <3

Well if Aldridge pulls a Melo he could say he's coming here no matter what (ie he would sign here in FA in a couple years) and at that point perhaps the Blazers consider taking Deng and his expiring deal now to have space to make moves in the current FA.

For the record, I was always surprised we traded Aldridge for Tyrus...didn't think it was that good a trade initially. But that's just me.

Nobody wants Boozer and his ridiculous contract. Trading for him would be a favor to CHI...
