Leddy sent to Rockford?

19 year olds or below that are held to under 10 games get one more year added on their extension.

I thought the reason Leddy could play with the Hawks this year was that he wasn't playing junior hockey and the 10 game rule doesnt apply to NCAA players?

Sorry, forgot to add that further qualification of the rule about not playing junior, but the 10 game rule still applies to his current status, from what I understand of the rule.

The 10 game rule applies due to his age. His birthday falls after December, or before. One or the other. While the Jr. Rule of eligibility for the AHL does not apply due to NCAA. Which was set last year or the year before by another player similar. There is a thread on this and his JR club, I think London, not too happy he did not return.
