It's monumentally stupid to enact Fields' option AFTER you decide he's not the guy.
Bingo. Which is why Williams makes me nervousNot nearly as long as Caleb Williams holds the ball.
How do you know? You've said you don't watch college football (it shows). So the only thing you've seen is highlight reels, if anything at allBingo. Which is why Williams makes me nervous

And why I keep coming back to Justin Fields. I'll take Fields over Maye, Penix, and Nix.

One of the top qb classes (if not the top class) in the last several decades, but fat Joe isn't thrilled with it based off tweets he's read. Thanks for the foresight. Look forward to you changing your mind completely once you see one of these guys play for the first time.I'm not thrilled with this QB class. Top 2 so far are Williams and Maye based on the buzz, but both have some serious warning flags when it comes to how they will translate into pros. But to my eyes, Williams might be more flashy, but Maye is the closest to being pro-ready, and there are some things he does that college QBs don't usually learn until they are on the pro level. If a team can determine those WTF throws of his are something correctable (maybe bad coaching or told to do something stupid), he's going to turn out to at a bare minimum be a decent pro, and could be a real threat in the right system (like a team like Miami, but they already got Tua).
As far as Penix and Nix goes, this is the first I think I heard of Nix, and aside from the funny name, its hard for me to find the desire to watch tape of Penix knowing he's one good hit away from a very short NFL career...
Please break down any film. This would be comedy gold.I'm not thrilled with this QB class. If Atlanta called and offered their 2024 1st and more for him, I'd absolutely do itTrade him NOW! Teams are getting desperate for QBs. His value, even injiured, is at its highest point. He’s doesn’t have IT.

I think its 3. I can't think of any above average starting QBs that didn't blossom until their 4th season and then maintained that level of play.

He won’t have to. No team would draft a QB and still keep him.Fields would and should demand a trade if they draft a QB.
