This is a great sign. When fans and players are despondent over a coach leaving you know he's good. How many Chiefs fans were worried about their offense when Nagy came to Chicago? Were there any Broncos fans crying a river about Fox getting sacked for Kubiac? I don't recall a mass wave of despair in Indiana when Eberflustered moved on from The Colts to become a head coach? I'll clue you in none.

This guy's is especially salty about Ben becoming Da Bears head coach. He's now acting like Johnson had little if anything to do with The Lions offensive acumen and him leaving won't detract from the unit in the slightest because he was just along for ride.

Yeah, I learned something, this guy is a total idiot.

To be fair you had some Lions fans like @nc0gnet0 insisting Johnson would not take a job in the North out of respect for Campbell. Not only did Johnson take it, he now is rumored to be making more tham Campbell.

Lions fans talking about loyalty and Ben Johnson be like

Yeah, I was wrong on that account, my understanding is he had Dan Campbell's blessing (not that he needed it).
You however were wrong on the mockery the Bears FO made of the Rooney rule, and the fact video interviews do not count.

For the last three years Johnson is an OC god as a play caller, and now he is just another bum. All because he decided to choose Chicago over the Raiders or Jaguars.

Good teams often lose their coordinators to become head coaches.

Anybody remember the last time someone hired a coach of the Bears staff to become a HC? Must have been Buddy Ryan I guess, a long time ago.

"Jared Goff launched this guy out of obscurity. He owes everything he is to Jared Goff and Dan Campbell."

Lol wut?

Fans are so fucking delusional. Check out the comments. All the Lions fans agreeing with him.

Pound the ball till they stop you?

How does that change the outcome of the game? The Commanders were doing whatever they wanted to that shit ass defense.

Detroit was not winning that game with how goff and the defense played. There was nothing BJ could have done playcalling wise to change that fact

No idea what you are talking about. I never said video interviewd count. I said the Bears interviewed 9 minority candidates.

One of the Lions fans suggested Dan Campbell act as the offensive play caller. Implied that he would do a good job. lol

Dan would have to promote Fraley to OC and Fraley isn’t ready to run an entire offense or call plays.
Dan can call plays and help with administration of the offense. Scotty can help with the latter as well.
We have levers we could pull to keep Hank if we have to.

Dan is a quintessential meatball. He has the personality to get a program turned around but I doubt he’ll be winning any Xs and Os wars on Sundays.

Lmao at Dan Campbell being the mastermind of that offense
When Campbell got rid of the crappy OC they had before Ben he called plays for just a short time and then turned it over to Ben Johnson. Cambell by no means is an offensive guru.

just going by memory so the timeline might be a little off, but it's the Lions so I don't fucking care

what happened to Dan Quinn when Shanny left to the 49ers? Quinn became bad. Same thing will happen to Quinn again if Kingsbury leaves and he doesn’t get a good OC.

This is what’s going to happen tonCampbell and Goff becomes Goff again.
