To be fair you had some Lions fans like @nc0gnet0 insisting Johnson would not take a job in the North out of respect for Campbell. Not only did Johnson take it, he now is rumored to be making more tham Campbell.

Lions fans talking about loyalty and Ben Johnson be like

Wouldn't the Lions have to give permission for any of their assistants to leave? I think a coach just can't up and leave.

This is a great sign. When fans and players are despondent over a coach leaving you know he's good. How many Chiefs fans were worried about their offense when Nagy came to Chicago? Were there any Broncos fans crying a river about Fox getting sacked for Kubiac? I don't recall a mass wave of despair in Indiana when Eberflustered moved on from The Colts to become a head coach? I'll clue you in none.

This guy's is especially salty about Ben becoming Da Bears head coach. He's now acting like Johnson had little if anything to do with The Lions offensive acumen and him leaving won't detract from the unit in the slightest because he was just along for ride.

Good points!

Good teams often lose their coordinators to become head coaches.

Anybody remember the last time someone hired a coach of the Bears staff to become a HC? Must have been Buddy Ryan I guess, a long time ago.
I would say 'Chico' when he left after SB XLI.

what happened to Dan Quinn when Shanny left to the 49ers? Quinn became bad. Same thing will happen to Quinn again if Kingsbury leaves and he doesn’t get a good OC.

This is what’s going to happen tonCampbell and Goff becomes Goff again.
Almost like good offensive coaches are the driving force behind good coaching staffs.

You are such a dumbass

One clarifcation. It was in person to satisfy the rule. They likely interview him regardless as they have interviewed like 17 people.

They easily could have brought in Glenn or Flores in person tomorrow so again was likley the case they wanted to interview George regardless and easy enough to make it in person.

No the sharks should feed on the fact that a Black GM, and a black team president, made a mockery of the Rooney rule.
By interviewing 9 minority candidates?

So let's recap stupid. It is clear from my post on Sunday that I knew you need to meet in person to satisfy the Rooney rule.

My response to you was to say I dont think the NFL is going to sanction a black President and GM for interviewing George when they interviewed 9 minority candidates this cycle. I think the NFL can see the forest from the trees and recognize the Bears gave 9 minorities a chance to get exposure to the interview process.

This isnt like the Pats who interviewed only 2 black guys in person and then hired Vrabel. So sorry you are too stupid to comprehend. At no point did I claim virtual interviews satisfied the Rooney rule.

After watching the video, I now want Detroit to crash & burn. What an arrogant, ignorant, condescending creep. He spoke so much bs that it wasn't funny anymore, after some minutes.
1) Ex: He (paraphrasing) said that the Lions next year will know BJ's scheme and know how to defend it. Well, dumb shit, that also implies that BJ knows the toilet's defense and can game plan to destroy it. It works both ways a-hole.
2) How does he know that Poles was against this hire? He doesn't. Although it's possible to hear it thru hearsay. But take that with a grain of salt.
3) Gulf made BJ? And this guy was serious when saying it. I guess he seemed to forget the Rams won the SB after Golf left them. Or did the Gulf of America decide to make the Rams OC and then decided to leave LA and let them win a SB w/o him? How noble of him.
4) Da Bears will never get their O-line fixed. This may be true. I say it isn't. But to say it with such conviction, and about a dynamic and not a static is beyond hubris & arrogance. We will pretty much know in October, so time will tell. Hopefully by September. Don't have to worry about something that we know will happen one way or the other.
I would say nobody ever punched this guy in the face growing up ( not saying it would have been the right thing to do )....LOL....But it seems he grew up saying what he wanted to, to whomever he wanted w/o consequences. I didn't grow up in that type of neighborhood. Unlucky me....lol...

I certainly hope his words blow up in his face.

If that were true Campbell would not have had to fire Anthony Lynn, his first OC.
Yea, it's a lot of cope there. There were some lucid comments as well though.

This is the reality of the NFL. You're a good team, you lose coordinators to other teams. That's just how it goes. That is, unless you're Kansas City because the fix is in.

Another butt-hurt Lions fan. The first game, between the two clubs, will be bloody slugfest.
These videos of sorry ass lion fans are great. Hell, this guy may be right on one point, Johnson wanting to come to Chicago to work with Caleb. and Flus was in the way. Why wouldn't you want to coach CW over Goff? Goff is a limited QB and Johnson has done a masterful job of working around Goff's flaws for the last three years. While with CW he now has a second year QB with as much raw talent as any QB in the NFC.

Easy choice if you ask me.

Go read your average football fan on social media's takes. It's almost unbelievable how stupid people are.

They also get all their takes from ESPN, other dumb asses, gambling, fantasy football, etc. Your average room temp IQ dude also tends to have some hate for Caleb Williams for all of those things we heard about all pre-draft. He's a crybaby ***** who paints his fingernalls like a............ I've seen people call Caleb the F-word.

So it's not really surprising that your average football fan doesn't understand nuance, context, progression, patience, time, etc. Throw an int? BUST. Lose a game? BUST. Take a sack? BUST.
I wouldn’t limit this to football fans. Politics is even worse.

I believe they have to let their coaches interview if it is a position that is a step up. So based on that, I guess they would have to let them leave.

Lions fans just want to be someone's rival. They've been shitty since the late 50's so no one takes them seriously.
