That is 5m a year too much for a guy that averages less than 4 yards behind a good OL. Herbert and Johnson both average more.

But you can easily find a better RB late in the draft that costs $750k. See Pachecho in KC last year. Jamaal Williams had better rushing metrics last year in Detroit and was going to be cheaper.

Absolutely he was. And he was always among league leaders in breaking tackles. Before Fields even started running much, the Bears running game was tremendous.
