Armnando Iannucci (Veep creator) is great with British shows. Veep felt like frat humor to me, as much as I love Elaine Benes. He can't capture (good) American humor, just makes it a slew of insults.

Yeah, I can see that. But I worked on 2 campaigns, my buddy is a campaign manager, and my sister is a staffer for a state rep and its really like that. At least in terms of people that all they do is work all the time and the filthy language and constant jabs. And the underlying near panic all the time too.

I agree. I think it sucks ass to be quite honest. I couldn't even make it through the first couple of episodes of Season 1.
