5. 6 may be out in 2016 but I doubt it. I doubt he finishes another book

Will you read book 6 assuming he puts it out? Or are you just going 100% show now since you know they will finish the story for sure?

I think I will read it all regardless.

I would totally read it since I have slogged my way through many an epic description of food to get to this point.

Only the pilot episode so far. Episode 2 is tomorrow. USA network. Without spoiling too much about it for you, its a perfect "some people just want to watch the world burn" scenario.

12 Monkeys is a great show on the Sci Fi network. I would recommend it to anyone that likes sci fi in general and the movie in particular.

I just finished watching Daredevil on Netflix and it was a pretty good series as well. Other shows I watch are Forever, Death in Paradise, Blacklist, Agents of Shield, Person of Interest, and Elementary.

12 Monkeys was pretty damn fantastic. I don't know how far they can run with it though.

I am ashamed to admit it, but Wayward pines has had me in its grasp. Interesting, and not near as ham fisted as other m. night shamylan stuff.

On a hilarious note, Rick and Morty is coming back this month... awesome foul humor cartoon.

Yeah first two episodes have been pretty good so far and the main actor is perfect for the role.

Yeah I am interested to see where they go with it next season. Will have to check out Wayward Pines as I haven't watched it yet.

other than the books themselves and knowing how he takes longer between each book and is an obese 70-year-old smoker whose first love was tv and already is an exec producer on the show and has a separate $2 million development deal with hbo, you do the math. fun fact, george rr martin was a staff writer for beauty and the beast and angel

Its a real sad situation imo. I am glad the show has had so much success and sounds amazing and am sure that GRM is too. But **** man, I can't imagine the pressure of the situation. The series is the kind of thing that could reasonable take 30-40 years to write under normal circumstances, with the author taking breaks to renew and refresh and maybe write unrelated books here and there. I hope the hunger for content doesn't **** up the potential of the books cause they are amazing imo. So great to live in them for a month or two at a time.

I agree to a point but what I was trying to say is I think george would be just as satisfied seeing his story realized via the show. the screen is his first love. So I don't think it's sad, for him. I really enjoyed the books, though
