The Wachovia Center has a block party that starts at 4pm. Supposedly with Chicago-style hot dogs. The Pavilion is open at that time, too. You can go in to the air conditioning, grab some Chickie's and Pete's food/cheesesteaks there, too. They had $4 beers last game. That's all on the side of the building facing the football stadium. When I was in there last game, all the fans were super nice. Beware, it's a false sense of security. It's nice if you want to be there early and not worry about fighting crowds later.
If you're driving, you can either park in one of the lots immediately connected to the Center, or across the street at the football stadium. I parked across the street and was out in no time without traffic because the baseball crowd was gone long before the game was over. It's $15 wherever you go.
Face for non-season ticket holders for the uppers started at $225 I believe. A lot of them had to add on a $50 food/merchandise credit, or an all-you-can-eat bracelet. The $375 uppers/$450 lowers came packaged with a Lexus Club deal, which is admission to the concourse-level club with a buffet/beer/soda.
All I BEG of you guys is to please, please be careful, and travel everywhere with a friend. I know it sounds like we're all paranoid and over-exaggerating, but that place gets nasty, with rioting possible, and I don't want to read any horror stories in the paper. The security guards are less than worthless, so remember, even if you aren't at fault/acting in self defense, they're going to blame you. Get home safe.
