You don't want to rush a knee injury. He's very fortunate(and so are the bears) that he didn't tear his ACL on that play. I'm sure they are being extra cautious now as if he reinjures that knee you waste a whole offseason of practice with fields

He's been here for almost 2 months and is not a rookie. They play one game a week.

How long do you think it takes to learn YOUR responsibilities on any given play? Or even the majority of plays?
