I would take Kukoc mainly for the fact that he is better at getting others involved offensively.

I always saw boshes numbers in toronto as a product of him just being on a bad team. Kukoc put up similar type numbers in his only year as the number 1 option. And he was more of a pg type player. Chris bosh is really overrated.

I actually agree heff. Bosh has better stats than kukoc cuz he was able to play a bigger role on a bad toronto raptors team.

What do you think kukocs numbers would look like if he were in boshs role?

I don't think Kukoc could go for 24/11 in an NBA season today with all eyes on him.....not at all. He did what he did with all time greats playing with him. No way does Kukoc in his prime get a max contract in today's league.

6-11 could play all 5 positions on the floor, had the best court vision I've ever seen out of someone so big, & could shoot it from anywhere. It's not even a competition. Kukoc wins by a mile in this vote.

And whoever said he didn't help the Bulls win 3 championships obviously had their eyes closed & ears plugged from 1995-1998. Without Toni in the Pacers series, we don't go to the Finals. He was the clutchest player on the team not named MJ. Name me 1 other occasions than the Miami game this year when Deng hit any big time, clutch shot. Hell he disappeared in the ECF for crissakes! Don't get me wrong I like Deng alot, but Kukoc he most definitely is not.

It is pretty close, but I'm going with Toni Kukoc. The guy had some point guard skills that put it over the top for me. He was a far superior offensive player overall.

Deng is definitely the better defender and rebounder. But I'd take Special K.

Tough. Both played in different eras. Kukoc didn't really succeed when he left the Bulls but I am positive Deng could start anywhere. Did you know Deng and Charlie Villanueva played on the same high school team? How do you stop that?

By the time Kukoc left the Bulls, he was already 32. He was already pretty seasoned as a player even before his rookie year. I think he was drafted in 1990.

  1. Chicago Bulls
Kukoc, hands down. Deng is still young, so who knows. And right now, Deng is focused on improving his whole game like no other, usually that's a great sign.

If I were to choose between Kukoc and Deng (for the same price) on the current Bulls' team, it would be a really tough call, but I would probably go with Deng because of his defense and rebounding being sorely needed. Kukoc would be a big improvement offensively for the Bulls so I'd really need to think about it.

For THIS Bulls team, id choose Deng. They really need him. For most teams, id take Kukoc.

They used to call him the European Jordan....He was the man when he played for Europe..He had great character to be able to humble himself when he became a bull considering he was used to being center of attention in Croatia..He was a great team guy..He was already a Bull long before he played for them...When Jordan shockingly retired Kucoc was like money in the bank in a savings account...Krause went and took out a withdawl..Talk about early preperation.
