Is Jordan a better scorer because that was his "roll" or because he was more skilled at putting the ball in the basket? That Pippen stuff has you over-simplifying the game too much.

Why are you bringing up defense as if Kukoc could play defense? That was a weakness in his game! Kukoc couldn't play defense any better than Boozer can.

And to all of a sudden think Kukoc could just take on the "roll" and dominate on the boards is just plain silly to me. You said look at the numbers. I did, and you are wrong...very wrong. Kukoc would have gotten ate up by Bosh the same way Boozer did and wouldn't have out-rebounded Bosh the way Boozer did.

At no point did I say Kucoc would be a dominate rebounder, I said he was a respectable rebounder...Where did I say that?????? And what the hell does Pippen have to do with this conversation? I never mentioned his name...Kucoc was a better defender than Boozer...Kucoc was simply a good defender and he worked at it, somthing you can't say for Bruizer Boozer....Another point that hasn't been made is that Tony took better care of himself and new how to stay injury free so you could depend on him to at least be there to play...Especially in the playoffs...I DON'T NO WHY, BUT I THINK YOU JUST WANT TO ARGUE WITH ME JUST FOR THE SAKE OF ARGUING PAGE AFTER PAGE AFTER PAGE...its all good though, that's what forums are for...So let the debate continue....I'm game...

11 rebs a game is dominant rebounding in the NBA, very few can do that. Boozer can, Kukoc can't.

And no, I don't want to argue for the sake of arguing. I pointed out what might have been missed, and that is Kukoc, yet another retired Bull you overrate, couldn't rebound on the level Boozer could. You claim he could and that Boozer only did it better because that was his "roll". That is asinine. But no, forums are not for needless arguments, they are not for taking silly statements and making pages and page of debate out of them with outlandish statements. So I have said my piece, and the numbers back up my claims. There is nothing to argue about.

There's nothing to argue about so why is this thread here? And why are you arguing...LoL, contradiction must be your middle name...Bottom line, Tony Kucoc is a more well balence player who was exceptional in every catagory where boozer is less dimensional.....How often was Tony on the bench in a suit and tie?...Tony showed up....Dependable is the word.....Me personally, ill take Tony on my team and you can have Boozer..You happy now playboy?

To suggest that Boozer is just as good of a rebounder as Kukoc is flagrantly false. Kukoc is incapable of pulling down that many rebounds. Rebounding has a lot more requirements than just height. Look at Eddy Curry. Generally, you need to be thick and strong with great leaping ability.

Yes Yes Yes,, Boozer is a better rebounder, but on this currant team we have Noah..And Deng..and Asik...And Gibson to rebound as well, and I believe Tony on this frontcourt makes it better overall...Tony also was a decent rebounder but not as good as Boozer in that 1 catagory...What about every other catagory????............SILENCE..................RIGHT, that's what I thought....

If we are talking about Boozer in his prime then there is not much question that I'm talking him over Kukoc. Boozer has lost a lot of lift and explosiveness over the last 5 seasons or so. He actually used to be a much better defender than he is now.

Boozer isn't as versatile of a defender as Kukoc but it is much harder to back Boozer down than it is Kukoc. Not to mention the rebounding... most PFs could box out Kukoc to the FT line.

I'd probably take Kukoc over Boozer because Kukoc would be a pretty capable stretch 4 in the NBA and a nice back-up for Luol Deng at the 3. It's not because he was exceptional in every area because he certainly was not.

What do you mean by "silence"? You are the one hearing things...and seeing things from the way you analyze players...

Kukoc couldn't grab 11 rebs a game in his sleep...let's not forget about that.

LoL, your statement is pretty funny..proof read before you post...I don't think anyone on earth can grab 11 rebounds a game while they are sleeping...I don't think while sleeping, anyone could grab even 1..

Actually heff, while I agree that kukoc could probably never avg 11 rbds per, considering that he managed 7 as a perimeter players tells me that if he worked strictly in the post like boozer, he'd come close to 9.

I also know kukoc would've ate bosh up too. Kukoc would've repeated took him off the dribble.
